Today Parker was able to go with the ward scout boys up to Jeremiah Johnson's day camp. He got up early around 6:20 so he could be at the church by 6:45. The group of boys got home around 1:30 & had a GREAT time. His favorite things were shooting BB guns, slingshots, archery, & sword fighting. Oh and lunch of course. :) At the trading post Parker bought a root beer, some squeaky balloon thing & a "make your own catapault" set. (Thank goodness he listened to his mom and did not bring home another pocketknife this year. We have too many of those already. :)

Wow! What a handsome scout Parker is! And what a good mom you are, sewing all his badges on so nicely! I hot glued Ethan's on and they keep falling off. He doesn't even have his troop number, and when they do uniform inspections at the pack meetings every month, he never wins for the most accurately outfitted. Poor neglected kid.
Actually I have to admit my mom had to sew them on - I'm totally not a homemaker and cant' sew a stitch!!!! Your story cracks me up about Ethan.
