Book Club Night

It's been months & months since our last book club. We used to have it every other month but when summer hit things got extra busy for everyone and then time flew by. So Abbie decided it had been long enough & invited us all to her house for book club last night. It was a lot of fun, as it always is with these girls, I enjoy them so much.

Gina provided the delicious refreshments (man I shouldn't have eaten 2 peanut butter bars AND 2 lemon bars but they were SOOO tasty I couldn't help myself! Thank goodness for spin class. Work us hard tomorrow Gina. I think I worked 2 of them off in today's work out but need to get the other 2 off now. :) We were supposed to discuss the books Breaking Dawn and The Last Lecture but we ended up talking about the Twilight movie (all the dorky/silly things about it), other books we had read & then just gabbed about anything & everything else that came to mind.

We decided on the next books we will be reading, "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Whitney my Love" (for those of you that left early.) The next book club is at Gina's house in April. As you know I will be honeymooning in the caribbean at this time so think of me girls on book club night. While you are discussing those books I will be.........doing other things.....fun, enjoyable & long OVERDUE things.....Brian will be involved.....if you know what I mean! (And yes, they will be legal & natural things. Ha ha, those who were at book club will know what I mean by that one - exit only, thank you very much. :) My friends claim they will still invite me to book club when I move away. We will see if they do and if so I will definitely make the drive down to hang with these guys. I'm always up for great food, conversation, fun & friends! Thanks for getting book club going again Abbie, & Gina thanks for the yummy treats, it was great as always!
