Kids Say the Funniest Things

At the end of February we went to a wedding reception for Brian’s nephew.
I left to run to the store for a few minutes and missed them doing the garter & bouquet throws.
Brian had updated me on how Paxton managed to catch the garter, look at it, make a face & throw it down when he realized where it came from or what it was, etc.
Today Courtney (his nephew’s new wife) sent me this pic of him – hilarious!
This is the conversation we had about it:
Paxton sees me looking at this picture and says “that’s me, I look weird.”
So I just asked him “what is that you are holding?”
He said “it’s a bra girls put on their legs, yuck.”
I said “why are you holding it?”
“Cuz I caught it” he said & then he laughs.
I said “why isn’t it on the girl’s leg?”
He said “cuz they took it off” and he laughed again and ran off.
A little later he came by and still saw the picture up and said,
“I didn’t even want it, it’s a girly, girl thing.”
So when Parker got home from school I showed him the picture & asked him what that thing was in Paxton's hand. He said “it goes on a babies head, a guy threw it out and Paxton caught it.”
It gave me and Brian a good laugh for the day. (And Brian claims one day Paxton will even want that girly, girl thing. :)
One more funny thing I wanted to mention since I'm talking about the funny things kids say. Today I was talking to Paxton's preschool teacher and she said the other day Paxton was telling her how his "new dad has a bald head. That means he has no hair...." I've noticed he is quite intrigued by the fact that Brian shaves his head and "has no hair." (I love that sexy, shaved head by the way!!!!!:)
