Memories of High School

When I was at spin class yesterday morning the instructor played Paula Abdul's newest song (I heard it on American Idol but can't remember the name of it now) and then as a blast from the past "Straight Up." Immediately following was Bobby Brown's "Don't Be Cruel." Boy did these songs bring back memories of being younger - of loving all of Bobby Brown's songs (he wasn't even cute but boy could he dance & those pants with the crotch hanging to the knees were way cool), Susie - who could do all these dance moves with perfection, and the running man. To make it perfect she could have played a Milli Vanilli song & I would have been set. Ahhh, the good ole days.

How fun! Wish I could spin with you. Do you ever happen to listen to 100.7 FM? You just might get your Milli Vanilli (sp?) fix there... lip syncing, lip schminking, they were great!

I think the station Sus is referring to is Movin' 100.7 and yes, you will hear Paula, Milli, Bobby, it does take you right back to high school. Every time I hear Straight Up I flash back to 9th grade Biology where Susie hand wrote the whole song for me on paper. :) Ah, the good ol' days!
