Last week was spring break for the kids so we headed down to St. George on Wednesday and stayed through Saturday. The weather could have been a little warmer (and less wind) but it didn't keep the kids from swimming, that is all they wanted to do.
Here are some pics from our trip - I was able to celebrate my 34th birthday while down there and so there is a pic of me and the boys on my bday in one of my new outfits I bought at TJ Maxx and More. I love that store!!! (Who can beat those Joe's Jeans I got for only 29.99?)
On Friday morning I went with my sister in law to the Summit Athletic Club to a spin class. Man, talk about top of the line bikes & the instructor was very easy on the eyes. He was going through the room really pushing you to go harder & faster. Hey, he was a hottie & can get after me all he wants. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me or I definitely would have taken a pic or two for the blog. :) I found out from my regular spin instructor that she trained under this guy and he is the spinning god - next to Johnny G, so she was excited to hear I got to go to one of his classes since he is so awesome!

Besides swimming the kids enjoyed happy meals for lunch each day (couldn't wait to see what "toy" they got each time), going to get ice cream & playing at the park with cousins. They also had a lot of FUN going to Fiesta Fun & playing the arcade games, riding the bumper boats & race cars as you can see. We got poppy (AKA my dad) to drive the race car with Parker since he wasn't tall enough to drive on his own - I think poppy liked it.

Funny story but those little cars that Paxton is in are very slow (but he wasn't tall enough for the race cars.) There were 6 cars & when they started off Paxton was in 5th place. All the kids were bigger & older than him but by the end of the ride he had managed to get in 1st place. Not sure how he did it since you can't speed up really with those things & he didn't keep his eyes on the road much - he liked looking at everyone around him. They probably were too slow for Paxton, he's used to speed since he has one of those battery operated 4 wheelers that has 2 speeds on it & he's always driving that thing around on the fast speed. And last week he started riding his brother's electric scooter (yes, those are for ages 8 and up & this 4 yr old handles it like a pro.)

Of course after playing all the arcade games we had to redeem our tickets for some "great" prizes as Paxton is modeling for us - who wouldn't want their own pair of googly eyes & a recorder? BTW those are really "fun" to listen to for the 3+ hr drive home in case you are wondering! :)

When it was time to come home on Saturday the kids were all worn out as you can see. A great time was had by all!!

Looks like so much fun! I love the TJ Maxx & More, wish we had one up here!
I know - I could spend hours there! It is such a fun store and good prices too. Our next girl's night (after this one in SLC) needs to be down to St. George - that would be fun! Of course I'm also always up for flying to Cali to see WICKED!!!
