Today was Paxton's 1st day of preschool at Mrs. Barney's Discovery Preschool. He was so excited to get to finally go to school, just like Parker. He got his backpack on & asked me all morning "You aren't going to stay, you're going to leave me there right?" And I'd tell him "I'll drive you there & drop you off by yourself." Then he would say "yeah!" So there was no clingy, attachment issues going on here - Mr. Independent was ready to go.
I took a couple of pics of him at home and at school and left him in the hands of his teacher. He goes every Mon and Wed from 9 until 11:30. I went and picked him up and he was full of excitement and stories of things they will be doing - going on a fieldtrip in the mountains and needing to catch a bug for the next class.
When he got home he had some crayon cupcakes there to help him celebrate his 1st day of preschool. My baby is not such a baby anymore (now if we could just get him to sleep in his bed all night. :)

I love Paxton! He is such a cutie!!! Can you believe that next year they will be in Kindergarten! Yikes!
